![]() The primary objective of the thread is resolved. I spent a fair amount of effort searching for it. The documentation never specified that this software was not located on the Installer/Live CD, or where it could be found. Its included in the VirtualBox installation download. ![]() Users shouldn't have to rely on search engines in lieu of documentation. It will ask you to download the guest additions iso image. I saw a specific filename listed in the documentation and believed that executable was compiled by the ReactOS project. In the virtual machine window, select Devices > Insert Guest Additions CD image. I cannot assume that the VM host software knows how to interact with ReactOS, or how ReactOS may need to reach out to the VM using a toolset specifically compiled for ReactOS. That is precisely how I found those pages on ReactOS' website, one of which I cited, but the documentation didn't specify which CD image. I do know how to use Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, AltaVista, Infoseek, Yahoo, AskJeeves and I used two of those before posting the question. Click on the Devices menu and select Insert Guest Additions CD image. Download and install the Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack on the host. You may be very smug with your use google comment. Use the following link to download the latest Virtualbox Guest addition ISO image. Bring up Windows File Manager > Select This PC and you should see the CD Drive with the inserted ISO. ![]() So this is found on an ISO provided by the VirtualBox team. When you insert the Guest Additions you should get a pop-up prompt in the bottom right-hand side of the Windows 10 Desktop asking what you want to do, but this doesnt hang around long and is easy to miss. As a first step in installing the VirtualBox guest additions, you need to attach the Guest Additions CD image to your Ubuntu virtual machine. So there is no need to separately download this CD image. I do appreciate the link, but keep in mind that years from now, people may find the link broken. The Guest Additions CD image holds the installer for the VirtualBox guest additions. This package provides an iso image which contains the guest additions for Linux, Solaris and Windows to be installed on the host system. ![]()
